RSSE Roadside Safety Engineering is owned and operated by Lennart Wahlund. Lennart has more than 20 years of experience working with road safety and has throughout his career been involved in developing many of the products used at our Swedish roads today. Since 2007, he runs his business in road safety in-house and represents several international suppliers, and have good connections with both manufacturers , consultants as researchers and government agencies.

Lennart works in close relationship with its suppliers and is prized for its expertise and consultative approach to its customers. Lennart’s commitment to road safety is also reflected in his commitment as chairman of the Swedish Safety Barrier Association (SVBRF) and as a member of Swedish Standards Institute (SIS), where he is active in the Road equipment (SIS/TK 248).

Lennart has also access to a large network of international contacts through membership of the Transport Research Board (TRB) Committee on Roadside Safety Design (AFB20) International Subcommittee.

Protection of road users of dangers and hazards in the road’s vicinity. Among our products are High Cortainment barrier for heavy vehicles and demanded the protection of sensitive neighboring areas as facilities, water supply , railways, buildings and workplaces for vehicular traffic. And special anchorings that make signs and light poles less dangerous for vehicle road users.
Rental of temporary crash cushions protecting, barrier ends. Perform installation and damage inspections of guardrails, crash cushions and other road safety equipment.
Consultation of temporary and permanent problems at roadwork sites and roadside areas.
